Biography

Paul Wilson was born in London, where he lived until he was 13. His family then moved to Galway. He is currently Lecturer in Statstical Science at the University of Galway, having previously held similar positions at The University of Wolverhampton and The University of St. Andrews and NUI, Galway.

Research Interests

Paul Wilson is a statistical modeller, especially of discrete data. He has a particular interest in zero inflation and deflation. He has also collaborated with researchers from other fields, for example citation count analysis, agricultural engineering and orthopedics.
