Biography

Patricia Harte is a Research Assistant at the Health Promotion Research Centre, University of Galway. She holds a Masters Degree in Health Promotion, University of Galway and is a CORU registered Optometrist. Her MA dissertation entitled A scoping review of the implementation and cultural adaptation of school-based mental health promotion and prevention interventions in low-and middle-income countries, explored effective mental health promotion and prevention interventions in schools in developing countries, and had a particular focus on how effective programmes were implemented and adapted to the local context. Since joining the Health Promotion Research Centre in June 2023, she has worked on a variety of collaborative projects predominantly in the area of mental health promotion.
