Dr Orla Brady, Occupational Therapy, led a national research project which examined an evidence base for meeting therapeutic care needs using Virtual Cognitive Stimulation Therapy with individuals living with mild to moderate dementia residing in the community in Ireland. This project is completed and Public - No restrictionations are in progress.
I am a permanent part time lecturer at University of Galway working in this role one day per week since 2018. In addition to my lecturing role, Iwork clinically in a permanent capacity a Senior Occupational Therapist in the primary care services in Meath.Summary of Previous Employment Details:-Senior Occupational Therapist with the HSE Dublin Mid Leinster covering the catchment area of Longford and Westmeath, Psychiatry of later life services (2010-2013)-November 2009 to July 2010 Acting Senior Occupational Therapist Position In Cavan General Hospital -June 2006 to November 2009 Staff Grade Occupational Therapist, Beaumont Hospital, Beaumont Road, Dublin 9, (Rotational Post).
