Biography
Nora Ward is a lecturer in PhilosophyEthics in the discipline of Philosophy at the School of History and Philosophy, University of Galway. Her area of specialization is environmental and Public - No restriction philosophy, with a particular interest in the ethics of attention, ecofeminism, environmental justice, and the philosophy of coexistence.
Research Interests
My research focuses on the normative dimensions of environmental modalities and practices. My current projects considers the role ofecological attentiveness inaddressing ethical concerns relating toanimal welfare and biodiversity conservation. Related interests and work havefocused on deep ecology, ecofeminism, the philosophy of coexistence,the environmental thought of John Moriarty, and ecomodernism.
