Biography
I am a Lecturer in Applied Mathematics and Mathematics in the School of Mathematical and Statistical Sciences.During the period 2019-2023 I was a Royal Society-Science Foundation Ireland University Research Fellow based at the University of Galway. I am interested in quantum information theory, includingQuantum Error-Correction and Fault-toleranceStabilizer formalism (generalization to d-level systems, quantum error-correcting codes, Gottesman-Knill theorem) Clifford group (and classical simulability, representation via SL(2,p)) Magic state distillation Quantum FoundationsDiscrete Wigner functions (negative quasiprobabilities, Galois fields, relationship with G-K theorem) Mutually unbiased bases, SIC-POVMs, quantum Bayesianism Nonlocality amp; Contextuality as well asQuantum Circuit Simulation Quantum Software
