Marie Blom

Marie Blom has been teaching in the French department of NUIG since September 2007. Following a masters degree in Literary Translation obtained from the University of Paris VII in 2004, she enrolled at NUIG in 2005 for an MLitt on the French translation of Irish theater. It was this experience that motivated her decision to pursue a PhD in the translation of Irish literature with particular attention given to the English language as it is spoken in Ireland.
