Biography

Dr Máiréad Caseyis post-doctoral researcher with the MSCA-funded REBPAF project in the University of Galway and a Lecturer in Film and Television Studies with the School of English, Media and Creative Arts. Her PhDresearch focused on demon possession and sexual violence in post-Great recession American horror cinema and was supervised by Dr Conn Holohan.She is a member of the committee for Irish Screen Studies Seminar, an annual all-island conference to postgraduate, post-doctoral and early researchers of film, media, performance andscreenstudies. She has a M.Phil from Trinity College Dublin in Popular Literature and a BA from Trinity College Dublin in English Literature and Film Studies.Orcid ID:0000-0002-5774-7223
