PhD projects

1. Physiology Education: As a lecturer with a strong interest in student development and pedagogy, I have published research on aspects of learning in the physiology laboratory class.

2. Physiological Effects of Nutrients and Dietary Agents: As well as studying the effects of caffeine on the immune system, I have worked on projects to investigate the effects of polyphenols on various aspects of physiology. My recent work has involved investigation of the impact of polyphenol-rich beverages, including blueberry juice and hawthorn juice, on the antioxidant capacity of saliva.

3. Health Promotion and Dietary Interventions: I have recently worked on projects to investigate the impact of fruit and vegetable consumption on overall nutrient intake and body composition parameters.
