Biography

A student centred Lecturer with experience teaching at aconsistently high standard across a range of programmes from undergraduates to postgraduates, of various sizes and at different levels. I have utilised a wide range of teaching modalities such as lectures, tutorials, and seminars and received positive student feedback. I have contributed to the ongoing development and review of programmes in the discipline. I consistently develop and grade various methods of assessments, providing timely feedback. I have also been awarded the Postgrad Certificate in Teaching and Learning which has afforded me the opportunity to implement innovative pedagogical practices in the classroom and learn about teaching concepts such as the flipped classroom. This has enabled me to be innovative, relevant, challenging and above all student centred in my methodology.I am interested in researching Nationalism, Class, socialisation, social issues and have published in peer reviewed journals.
