PhD projects

My key research interests are in socio-cultural explorations of academic identities and academic practices. I would be keen to supervise research students wishing to investigate identity-establishment for early-career academics, and particularly a variety of under-explored intersections such as those from previously under-represented backgrounds or international arrivals. The broad area of academic practices includes research with those on non-traditional contracts andor changing roles, and the influence of higher education policy developments. I would also be interested in hearing from those wishing to research PGT students experiences.
