Biography
Ian Mundays background is in philosophy of education and English literature. Ian is currently a Senior Lecturer in educational philosophy at NUI Galway. Prior to this he was an English teacher, a Teaching Associate in philosophy of education at the University of Cambridge and a Lecturer in Education at the University of Stirling. His research focuses on the language of education, creativity and problem-solving. Ian is currently Convenor of the philosophy of education network at the European Conference on Educational research.

Convenor Roles 2019 branch convenor of the PESGB for Ireland 2018 I am lead convenor of the Philosophy of Education Network at ECER (Network 13) 2015 I was invited to be co-convener of the INPE International Network of Philosophers of Education conference in Warsaw. 2014 I was elected to the role of co-convener for the Philosophy of Education network at the European Conference for Educational Research (ECER).
