Grace Attwood's primary research interest is in Latin literature, with a particular interest in Latin poetry of the early imperial periodand the reception and transmission of the Latin tradition in the pre-modern era. Her Ph.D. research, which was completed at the University of Galway in 2022, explored how Hiberno-Latin poets were influenced by Classical and Late Antique discourses on style and how their stylistic choices generate meaning in their texts. Currently, her research is focussing on Lucan's Bellum Civile , with a particular interest in Lucan's use of intertextuality and the texts reception in the Carolingian world.
