Biography

Dr. Fatemeh Ahmadi Zeleti is a research fellow and adjunct lecturer at the Insight Research Centre for Data Analytics and the Data Science Institute at the University of Galway. Her research is primarily situated in the field of digital government, with a focus on how digital and data technologies can support innovation in public institutions and contribute to addressing complex societal challenges.

Her work examines how governments and public organizations can effectively leverage data infrastructures and disruptive digital technologies to advance public service delivery and policy innovation. In recent years, her research has increasingly concentrated on trustworthy artificial intelligence, AI governance, and AI regulation in the context of public administration, with particular attention to public trust, accountability, and responsible technology adoption.

She holds a PhD in Engineering and Informatics, dual MSc degrees in Software Engineering and Business Administration, and a BSc in Information Technology. Her interdisciplinary background underpins her contribution to international research initiatives on AI, data governance, and responsible innovation across Europe.
