Biography

Dr Eoin Daly specialises in the political theory of constitutional law, with a particular focus on sovereignty, referendums, judicial power, and law and religion. He also has a strong interest in French political thought, especially the doctrine of laïcité or constitutional secularism.

Eoin has authored forty-nine peer-reviewed articles and is the author of Rousseau's Constitutionalism (Hart, 2017) and Law, Religion and the Irish State (2010). He is also co-author, with Tom Hickey, of The Political Theory of the Irish Constitution (2015).
