Biography

Emer was appointed the Cancer Centre Research Manager in the College of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences at University of Galway in 2022.

Working closely with academic colleagues, the HSE West and North West Cancer MCAN (Managed Clinical Academic Network), cancer charities and external academic institutions, she supports and promotes cancer research and coordinates the cancer centre research steering group.

Emer has worked in the cancer research environment since 2002, supporting research projects, students and PIs in the School of Medicine, Lambe Institute and National Breast Cancer Research Institute.
