Biography

Dr Elif Calik received her PhD in Computer Engineering from Ankara Yildirim Beyazit University, Türkiye, in 2022. She obtained the Digi+ MSCA Co-Fund postdoctoral fellowship in March 2024. She has been a postdoctoral researcher at ADAPT Research Centre, and School of Computer Science, University of Galway, since December 2024. Her research focuses on Blockchain technology, ethics, and trustworthy issues. Her ongoing work involves the application of blockchain technology in the tissue/organ transportation process.
