Biography
I am a Registered General Nurse, Occupational Health Nurse and registered Nurse Tutor. I have clinical experience fromgeneral nursing (in Ireland and Australia) and Occupational Health (from the private sector to the health setting). I am a lecturer above the bar at the school of nursing and midwifery. I teach at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. I am module leader for a number of undergraduate modules. I have been nominated for the Presidents Award for Excellence in Teaching on two separate occasions. I take a lead role in the teaching and management of clinical skills in the school. I am involved in a number of committees in the school, the college and with our affiliated health care providers. I have been involved in a number of studies in the school as a research assistant and researcher and have a number of Public - No restrictionations in peer reviewed journals.
