Eilish King is a Lecturer and Practice Education Coordinator in the Discipline of Occupational Therapy at the University of Galway. She previously worked as a lecturer, Regional Placement Facilitator, Practice Tutor, and as an occupational therapist working with children and adults with intellectual disabilities in higher education and disability services.
Eilish is currently undertaking PhD research exploring sensory processing and adults ageing with intellectual disabilities. As Practice Education Coordinator, Eilish's interests centre on supporting student learning, quality and capacity of practice education in evolving practice contexts.
