Personal profile

Biography

I am an experienced English language lecturer with nearly 20 years at Shannon College of Hotel Management, University of Galway. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of teaching and mentoring students from around the world, helping them develop the academic English skills and cultural awareness needed to succeed in global hospitality and business settings.

I currently lead the International Foundation Business Programme an exciting programme that support international learners in their academic transition to higher education in Ireland.  I have also been the programme leader for the Indonesian International Student Mobility Awards (IISMA) initiative for the past 3 year.

I hold a Master’s in Teaching English as a Foreign Language from the University of Limerick and an undergraduate degree in Translation, Interpreting, and Teaching English as a Foreign Language from Faculdade Ibero-Americana in São Paulo, Brazil.
