Dr Eavan ODochartaigh is an Honorary Research Lecturer in English at University of Galway, Ireland. She graduated in 2018 with a PhD in English from University of Galway. From 2019 to 2021, she was a Marie Sklodowska-Curie Individual Fellow at Umeå University, Sweden. Her current project (2022-26) Exploring the Arctic Archive at University of Galway is with the mentorship of Prof Daniel Carey and is funded by Research Ireland Pathway Programme (2022-26). Her first monograph Visual Culture and Arctic Voyages (2022), published by Cambridge University Press, is available as Open Access on Cambridge Core.
