Biography

Ciara is agraduate of the BA Psychology, MSc in Applied Behavior Analysis, and PhD in Applied Behavior Analysis inNational University of Ireland Galway. Ciara is also aBoard Certified Behaviour Analyst with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board(R). Ciaras clinical experience is in early intervention servicesfor children with ASD andacross preschool serviceswith typically developing children. She has also facilitatedsocial skills groupsand parent educationfor children and adolescents withautism spectrum disorderdelivered by NUIG and the HSE.

Research Interests

Ciaras research interests include social skills andsocialdevelopment, early intervention for children with additional needs,peer mediated intervention,preventive research, early childhood care and education, parent and teacher training.
