Medieval Irish and European History, Late Roman History
Chris Doyle is an Assistant Professor in Medieval History with the School of History and Philosophy at the University of Galway. With a Classics background, his interests also include the religion, society, and material culture of ancient and early medieval Ireland, Europe, North Africa and the Near East.
Religious iconography; race and identity; material culture; numismatics.
Greek & Roman history; medieval Irish, European, and Byzantine history.
