Biography

Caoimhe is a research assistant psychologist with the Department of General Practice, School of Medicine at NUI Galway. She has a B.Sc. in Psychology from the University of Limerick and an M.Sc. in Health Psychology from NUIG.Caoimhe has a strong interest in health services research, particularly in relation to patient safety and behaviour change within the context of the medical profession.She iscurrently working on a number of projects concerned with examining behaviour and identifying error in patient care, with the overriding aim of improving patient safety outcomesand enhancing healthcare professionals performance.
