Brian Hegarty

Brian Hegartyhas over 30 years experience in the Hospitality Industry. His hotel career has progressed through the ranks from Boston and New Hampshire in the USA followed by a number of years withJurys Hotel Group. in 1995, he transferred to the Castletroy Park Hotel in Limerick as Operations Manager followed by the role of Deputy GM in the West County Hotel in Ennis and he took over as General Manager in the Aberdeen Arms Hotel in Lahinch until 2002. Brian then bought the family pub in Limerick and traded as a Public - No restrictionan until 2004. Recognising the change in the business, he converted the pub to a Coffee Shop in 2004 and successfully traded with Coffee 4 Two until the recession decimated the business in 2009.During the recession he worked in the Absolute Hotel, Limerick until 2012 when he changed direction and started working in Shannon College of Hotel Management as Food amp; Beverage Lecturer.He completed a Post Graduate Certificate in Teaching and Learning in 3rdlevel education in 2018 in NUI Galway
