Biography

Bharat Lal (Senior Member, IEEE) received the B.Eng. degree in electronics engineering and the M.Eng. degree in automation and control from the Mehran University of Engineering and Technology, Jamshoro, Pakistan, in 2016 and 2018, respectively, and the Ph.D (Hons.) degree in information and communication technologies from the University of Calabria, Rende, Italy, in 2025. He is currently a MSCA Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the CÚRAM, Research Ireland Centre for Medical Devices, University of Galway, Galway, Ireland. His research interests include compressive sensing, digital healthcare, wearable computing, IoT, embedded systems design, and signal processing.
