Biography

The role of community engagement manager is a new role that encompasses the areas of Community Knowledge Initiative and ALIVE student volunteering. Supporting students and staff in community engagement projects throughout the University, Building on my experience researching the role of sense of community in the creation of Public - No restriction value and work on diverse projects including The Peoples Trial, a co-created evaluation of recovery education, the social and community impact of rural hubs and mapping the SDGs.

Research Interests

Anns work includes exploring how faculty integrate sustainability in their work and on how community is created and valued in different settings: including participation in online Public - No restriction engagement, co-creation in recovery education and hybridremote workers experience of value creation in rural communities. Her work takes a co-creation and information sharing approach which aims to make research accessible to all.

Teaching Interests

Currently guest lecturing on modules on student volunteering community engagement. My teaching interests includes the socio-technical impact of information systems and Information systems and sustainability. From 2022 I have supervised both undergraduate and post student groups in major project work,
