Biography

Dr. Áine Ní Léime is Assistant Professor in Ethics, Business and Society at the Discipline of Management in the School of Business and Economics. Shehas a PhD in Sociology and Social Policy from the University of Dublin, Trinity College. Her current research and teaching interests are in employment, gender and ageing, precarious employment and business and diversity, ethics and corporate responsibility. Prior to this, she was a Research Fellow in the Irish Centre for Social Gerontology at the University of Galway and has teaching and research in several aspects of ageing, including creativity, volunteering , gender and ageing.

Research Interests

My research and teaching interests include: ethics and corporate responsibility, businesss and diversity, extended working life, sociology of ageing, gender and employment, creativity and ageing, end-of-life care, equality issues, research methodologies, (including life-course and life history) and critical theory.
