Overview of our Research

Research at the School of Law

The School of Law is committed to high-quality research and to enhancing its position as a centre of scholarship, nationally and internationally. School members are encouraged to develop and pursue a strong and committed research agenda and to foster in our students high standards of scholarship. Whilst most of the research output continues to be in the form of individually authored publications, a significant proportion of staff members collaborate on collective national and international research projects and networks and/or are working within specific research centres.

Our research centres

The School has three established research centres - the Irish Centre for Human Rights, the Centre for Disability Law & Policy and the Centre for Housing Law, Rights and Policy.  These provide a research environment conducive to collaborative projects and this is reflected in the research output of those associated with these Centres.
