Overview of our Research
The School has a vibrant research culture, an international reputation for excellence and a diverse range of research activities. We are home to multiple funded research projects (including ERC and IRC Laureate grants) and also individual research projects by doctoral and postdoctoral researchers. Our research is distinctive and collaborative, and encompasses the following areas: Translation, Culture and Creativity; Applied Linguistics and Multilingualism; Local and Global Legacies; International Encounters; Environmental Humanities; Migration and Postcolonialism; Philology and Transmission of Cultures.
