Overview of our Research

The School of Health Sciences is a centre of research excellence, advancing knowledge across speech and language therapy, occupational therapy, health promotion, and podiatric medicine. Across all disciplines, our researchers lead impactful studies that inform rehabilitation strategies, healthcare interventions, diagnostic practice, and long term population wellbeing. Through the use of diverse methodologies, including patient and public involvement (PPI), and by working closely with communities, healthcare providers, and policymakers, we integrate cutting edge research with practice, influence health policy, and deliver meaningful improvements in health outcomes.
