The School of Engineering at University of Galway seeks to support ambition and enable our researchers to conduct fundamental discovery, drive innovation, address global challenges, and work in partnership with industry and academic institutions for international impact.

We leverage the distinctive strengths of our region and Ireland in medical technologies, renewable energy, marine, data, construction and the built environment.

We are committed to conducting excellent, engaged and impactful research, and to communicate our research to drive innovation and international recognition.
