3rd Year PH341 This module is an introduction to the applied science concerned with minimising the risk to health from work, and provides a general approach for the assessment of the health risks associated with exposure to hazardous substances in a broad range of industries, from agriculture to pharmaceutial. It addresses the theory and practice of measuring many of the chemical and biological workplace hazards for example, particulates, bioaerosols, gases, vapours.
