This module provides an introduction to occupational health outcomes and practice. It addresses recognition, assessment and prevention of ill health and injury within the workplace. Physical, chemical and psychosocial hazards and their associated short and long term health outcomes are addressed. Occupational health programmes and workplace health promotion are also examined.
