Chair of committee , 01-SEP-13 Requested by Registrar to act as vice chair 2013 - 2016, Appointed chair May 2016 Attend meetings of the Exam Security Group which meets 2-3 times during exam periods (10 meetings annually). I also meet with the vice chair and administrative lead from the exams office once a week during exam periods to discuss the cases the panel will be presented with, in order to ensure fairness and consistency of penalties applied to students found in breach of exam regulations. Involved in development and review of the standard operating procedures of the group and also for putting in safeguards should students become distressed during interviews with the panel.
