Consultancy Work - In a non-academic capacity, Maura worked as a consultant for numerous US companies, focussing mostly in the areas of implementing successful human resource management practices, talent management, etc. She also assisted in attracting funding for several start-up companies in the US and Northern Ireland. She served as a small business development consultant and economic regeneration consultant for the EU in Ireland and Lebanon and the UN in Palestine. Maura is a member of the British and American Academies of Management.� In a personal capacity, Maura is a life-long vegetarian and has always been dedicated to the promotion of human and animal rights.�
