Professor Morrissey has given public lectures to a range of civic and educational organisations and societies, including Amnesty International, Galway Archaeological and Historical Society and Pint of Science Ireland. He has also actively supported various student societies including: the Political Discussion Society; the Literary and Debating Society; and the Volunteer Services Abroad Society.
