Built a large collaboration network with scientists clinicians in RCSI, TCD, UCD, NUIG, Cardiff, KCL, and Copenhagen, using human iPSCs as models for neurodevelopmental and neurodegenerative diseases;Set up collaboration with Dr Natalay Kouprina at NIH NCI, on TAR cloning technology;Set up collaboration with Prof Mitsuo Oshimura at Tottori University on Human Artificial Chromosome;Initiated and built REMEDI NUIG partnerships with SJTU and FMMU;Participated in Ireland Trade Mission visit to China for the signing of MoU (March 2012);Organized a visit of a REMEDI delegation to SJTU and FMMU (April 2012);Received delegations from Minister of Science amp; Technology (11 12) and from Shenzhen (12 13);Initiated and led to the signing of a MoU between NUIG and UFRGS in Brazil.
