External Collaboration. Joint project. Karum Creevagh
Swedish-Irish Experimental Heritage Explorations
To explore new approaches to landscapes I am part of the Karum Creevagh project which is a collaborative project between Swedish and Irish archaeologist and artists to explore new ways of combining archaeology, art and heritage in landscape settings located in Sweden and Ireland. The project is situated simultaneously in western Ireland and south-eastern Sweden, within very different cultural landscape settings.
The project is focused on new approaches and perspectives concerning how the past matters to us in the present and might have an impact on the future. The merging of the fields of art and archaeology has created opportunities to explore methodologies such as poetry, performance, movement, surveys and writing.
