Appreciation
I would like to begin with a short consideration of the idea of �appreciation� and what it means. Appreciation is the �recognition and enjoyment of the good qualities of someone or something� shaped by respect, admiration, regard, esteem, evoking a sense of being treasured. We all know what it feels like to be appreciated, to be acknowledged and cherished. We also know the importance of extending our appreciation, expressing our gratitude to family, friends and strangers not only for unexpected gifts or kindness but also for the taken for granted. In this spirt, I would like talk about three appreciations in honour of the 15th Birthday of Muscailt in NUI Galway.
